If you have been following some of the Veeam promotional activity recently, it’s pretty clear that Veeam and Drobo have been hard at work with some joint solutions for their common customers. Drobo, makers of flexible, easy-to-use storage systems, have now teamed up with Veeam for to provide an additional resource for customers who make new Veeam and Drobo purchases. Drobo recently blogged about these promotions and now it’s our turn! There are three different ways to benefit from this program, outlined below:
1. Each new Drobo iSCSI unit (Pro, B800i and B1200i) sold to commercial customers through this program will now include a 90-day-trial license of Veeam Backup & Replication. To learn more about promotional offer of Veeam Backup & Replication in combination with Drobo SAN storage.
2. For customers who purchase both Veeam Backup & Replication and a Drobo iSCSI SAN product, a free 4-drive Drobo unit will be provided. More information on this promotion can be found here.
3. If 2 Drobo iSCSI units are purchased, Drobo will provide a complimentary 2-socket bundle of Veeam Essentials Standard Edition. More information on this program can be found here. There are a couple of parameters to this promotion, of course!
For promotions No. 2 and No. 3, the purchases must be made through ProMark, which can be done through most of the common vendors already in use. In cases where a free Drobo is provided, it is provided without hard drives. Customers can choose between promotion No. 2 and No. 3, but not both. Finally, these promotions end March 31, 2012.
