His previous roles have ranged from designing SAN and data backup solutions, to systems engineering and leadership that served public sector and enterprise customers. Before Veeam, Jeff led Commvault’s federal civilian SE team. At Veeam, Jeff works with partners, customers, and industry analysts to evangelize Veeam's vision for modern data protection at key events worldwide.

Gil Vega is a security expert with more than 22 years of experience. Prior to joining Veeam, Gil was a Managing Director & CISO responsible for global cybersecurity, technology risk & compliance at CME Group Inc., based in Chicago. Also, before to his career in financial services, Gil Vega was a member of the U.S. Federal Government’s Senior Executive Service and served as the Associate Chief Information Officer & CISO for the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement in Washington, DC.
