Veeam Backup & Replication can be used to back up and replicate workloads running on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) as part of a hybrid infrastructure. You can replicate from on-premises VMware into AVS, or restore backups of workloads from a different hypervisor, cloud or physical machine into AVS as well.
You can expand your disaster recovery options with AVS to ensure recovery, even if you experience hardware loss or a primary site goes down.

This reference architecture document outlines the basic knowledge and components needed to successfully deploy a Veeam solution that supports AVS.
