Veeam’s Data Protection Trends Report 2023, conducted by independent researchers surveying over 4,000 IT leaders and practitioners, includes a similar query:
Nearly an even split of responses across teams responsible for backup, storage, Kubernetes, and applications. As DevOps and Platform Engineering practices continue to blur the lines between the roles of yesteryear, it’s clear that the backgrounds of those helming Kubernetes data protection are diverse. Learning by Example
As more organizations look to adopt stateful workloads like databases on their Kubernetes clusters, many of you will be faced with implementing strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and, in all likelihood, application mobility across different clusters, clouds, and distributions. And if you’re like me, you want to skip to the part where you can get hands-on in your own environment.
