Before installing this hotfix to add support for VMware Cloud Director 10.4 to Veeam Backup & Replication, please confirm that you are running Veeam Backup & Replication 11a P20220302 (build 11.0.1.1261 P20220302). You can check the build number under Help | About in the backup console.

Resolved by Hotfix for Veeam Backup & Replication
- Upon configuration of Cloud Connect Replication network extension appliance (NEA), Cloud Director of version 10.3.2 or higher removes the appliance management network interface, making tenant failover operations impossible.
- Usage of Cloud Director 10.4 results in backup and replication jobs failing with:
VMware Cloud Director server does not support SDK of the following versions.

- Cloud Director 10.4 breaks Veeam Plug-in for VMware vCloud Director.
Deployment Information
Service Providers using Cloud Connect Replication must redeploy Network Extension Appliances after patch installation.
Hotfix for Veeam Backup & Replication
- Verify that Veeam Backup & Replication is running build 11.0.1.1261 P20220302.
- Ensure no active tasks are occurring.
- Close Veeam Backup & Replication Console
- Execute the Hotfix Installer on the Veeam Backup Server
Patch for Veeam Plug-in for VMware vCloud Director
- Upload the Patch plugin.zip as documented in the User Guide: Uploading and Configuring Plug-in
