In certain rare circumstances, a failed backup retry session for a Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows job operating in Managed by backup server mode may be reported as a Success.
Potentially affected jobs will be listed in the Veeam Backup & Replication Console under Jobs > Backup section, as the job type "Windows Agent Backup."
This issue was resolved in Veeam Backup & Replication 12.1.
Upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication to the latest version.
