Cisco is a technology leader with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions to customers globally. For some time, Cisco has been a key alliance partner for Veeam. Over the past two years, we have completed numerous Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) to build on our long-lasting technical relationship. Back in March, we announced a significant step forward in our growing partnership when we showcased our direct snapshot integration for Cisco HyperFlex — the first and only one of its kind today.
We are now proud to announce yet another milestone in our strategic partnership with Cisco. Veeam will be added to the Cisco Global Price List by the end of the year. This will enable Cisco and its resellers to deliver Veeam Availability solutions as easily and simply as any Cisco hardware or software product.
This is great news for customers who are moving through their own digital journeys. Digital transformation and digital disruption have become top-of-mind concerns for executives today. IDC predicts that more than 65% of Global 2000 companies will position digital transformation at the center of their corporate strategies by the end of 2017.
At the heart of digital transformation is data, which is commonly touted as this generation’s oil — such is the value of the commodity to modern business. Our software passed Cisco’s interoperability testing, and it uses pre-validated designs so customers can meet stringent service-level objectives. The delivery of better and more reliable customer experiences 24.7.365 means customers will be able to recover any application and its associated data within seconds — not hours or days.
