Veeam again in the Leader quadrant!

Gartner has just published the 2019 Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup & Recovery Solutions and Veeam was named a Leader for the third time.1

External validation like this is very rewarding as we continue to work on delivering even greater capabilities that embody the Veeam design principles of being simple, flexible, and reliable. At the core of Veeam’s portfolio is the Veeam Availability Platform. Veeam has broad support for on-premises and hybrid cloud workloads. We provide cloud mobility for workload portability across various clouds and different platforms to ensure that organizations can maintain easy access to, and control of their data in a hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud environment.

Powerful new features like Cloud Tier for automatically moving aged data to the cloud, Secure Restore to protect and even remediate against ransomware, and Staged Restore to ensure GDPR compliance keep Veeam at the cutting edge of innovation. In fact, we’ve been busy delivering new releases for all of the components of our Cloud Data Management portfolio, such as the v3 iteration of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 for greater security and scalability, as well as even faster backups. Also there’s the new Veeam Availability Orchestrator v2 that delivers the industry’s first comprehensive solution for disaster recovery orchestration and automation from both replicas and backups.

We didn’t become an industry leader by ourselves. Veeam has a large, global ecosystem of partners and system integrators that enable us to support customers in both mature and emerging markets. The recent with Veeam program combines Veeam’s powerful software with our storage partners to deliver even more options for unified secondary storage solutions. Alliances with Amazon Web Services, Cisco, ExaGrid, HPE, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, NetApp, Nutanix, Pure Storage, Quantum, VMware and many others are why we are adding 4,000 new customers each month.

At Veeam, there’s a relentless focus on our customers. We always design our solutions with the customer in mind. That’s why when customers talk about our solutions they, “It Just Works.” This is why Veeam now has over 365,000 in over 80 countries.

We’re now in the last quarter of 2019, and what an incredible year it has been. The largest storage software investment in history ($500 million USD) was made by Insight Partners in to Veeam. Veeam delivered its largest, most cloud-capable release ever. We announced that we have a $1 billion-dollar bookings run rate (only a few software companies have achieved this financial milestone). And now we again have external recognition by way of the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant. What’s even more exciting, is that Veeam has many more incredible things planned for early 2020, with many of those capabilities already in beta today.

At Veeam, we help you backup for what’s next. Download the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant report today to check out the details on Veeam’s Leader position. Also, checkout the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant report.
