Self-Service Access, Restore Options, and Policy Management

  • Tenant admins can now enable or disable self-service access for end users, enabling these users to restore their own Outlook and OneDrive data protected by Flex backup policies to the original location.

  • Bulk restore for Express policies now supports restoring large data sets to alternate locations.

  • Express protection policies are now editable while in the “Updating” state.

  • Up to 100 Express protection policies can be created and managed per Microsoft 365 application (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive).

  • Objects can be imported into Flex or Express backup policies via CSV upload for faster policy configuration.

  • SharePoint lists can be restored to a specific target list.

  • The Restore Activity report includes a month and year picker to select a specific period for report generation.
