Today you are going to find out what I’ve been doing behind the scenes for the last 6 months. Veeam is starting March off with a bang. As a vendor, Veeam Software has evolved to the next level with a shiny new program.
Today, Veeam Software is opening its gates to a new partner accreditation program in the form of extensive online training materials and examinations. Veeam ProPartners will now have the opportunity to become accredited with Technical Sales and pure Sales titles. New accreditation titles include Veeam Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) and Veeam Sales Professional (VMSP).
We have created 35+ training modules (yes, 35+) to help educate our partner community. By becoming a Veeam Sales or Technical Sales Professional you can:
- Learn how to deploy, design, and troubleshoot Veeam products
- Sell and demonstrate Veeam solutions
- Meet requirements for the 2011 ProPartner Program
- And more!
On a side note, don’t be fooled by the title of Veeam Technical Sales Professional. The technical training was developed to appeal to both pre-sales people and consultants alike. So, of course, there is some positioning, messaging and general sales waffle in there, but at the same time we deep dive. For example, we’ll show you how to recover a Oracle Database record using Veeam Backup & Replication v5.
The cool thing about this training is it’s broken into nuggets of about 20 minutes so you can view—and return to viewing—whenever you want. Upon completion you can download a snazzy certificate too. Lastly, and the one everyone will love… IT IS FREE!
