Veeam receives 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Data Center Backup and Recovery Software recognition

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. It’s in our DNA, at every level of the organization, and we know this ethos is working. Why? Because our users keep telling everyone who will listen exactly what they think of us, and what they say about Veeam is fantastic!

I’m honored that, this week, end users on Gartner Peer Insights recognized Veeam with the 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for Data Center Backup and Recovery Software recognition. As of 2/16/2018, Veeam has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars from 250 Gartner Peer Insights (customer) reviews.

According to Gartner*, “all the reviews are submitted by an IT professional or business user who has had experience purchasing, implementing and/or using the enterprise solution they are reviewing — free from conflicts of interest”. In other words, the Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice are based on those people who actually use the software.

What I like about this is that customers from across the industry give their real-world feedback about what works and what doesn’t. What each customer has to say is open and available for anyone to read. Vendors cannot hide.

It is fascinating read. At Veeam, we are always looking for ways to improve, and while our score of 4.6 out of 5 is, in our opinion, stellar, we aren’t perfect. This type of feedback and candor allows us to improve and adjust. Innovate and iterate, as we call it. One of our core values at Veeam.

The criteria to be considered for this recognition is to have at least 50 reviews and an average overall rating of 4.2 stars or greater. Veeam had 250, which showcases what we believe is the passion our customers have for the company.

Veeam is proud to be on this list. As the President and Co-CEO of Veeam, I have the chance to speak with many of our customers around the globe to hear direct feedback. Listening to our customers is critical to our success. What’s nice is this list is from customers who are telling the world what they think. And it continues to be very positive.
