Challenge
If you use Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN, under certain circumstances the RMAN autobackup process may fail. In this case, you will see the following error in VeeamPluginManager.log:
Preparing autobackup backup for file [687b84b5-d78e-4ee4-b290-6919758d0ff8/c-22912333-20200315-1b_RMAN_AUTOBACKUP.vab] Failed.
Performing SBT backup on channel [{7373afb1-557e-46ca-9a3e-04e954a43c50}] Failed.

The issue can happen due to desynchronization between the main backup session and the autobackup session.
Solution
The issue is fixed in Veeam Backup & Replication 10a Cumulative Patch 20201202. To download the updated Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN, use the button on the bottom of the page and choose the package depending on OS and architecture version.
IMPORTANT
Before you install Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN, make sure the current build number of Veeam Backup & Replication is 10.0.1.4854 (Veeam Backup & Replication 10a or Veeam Backup & Replication 10a Cumulative Patch 20201202).
