This plug-in leverages the Veeam Universal Storage API, which enables storage OEMs to allow Veeam Backup & Replication integration to the arrays for backup and replication jobs.

Requirements

Before installing DataCore Plug-In v1.2.2, ensure that you are running Veeam Backup & Replication 12.3.0.310 or higher. You can check the installed build number in the Veeam Backup & Replication Console's Main Menu (≡) under Help > About. 

DataCore Plug-In v1.2.2 supports integration with the following storage systems:

  • DataCore SANsymphony 10.0 PSP12 or later

What's New

  • Updated setup package to enable installation on Veeam Backup & Replication v13.0.1.
    Please also install this version if you are unable to remove the earlier plug-in version after upgrading to v13.0.1.

Known Issues

For PSP16 and higher, the 'Default Snapshot pool' setting must be defined at the server level.
If the 'Preferred Snapshot pool' setting is only configured at the virtual disk level, the following functionality will not work:

  • Restore from storage snapshots in Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Backup from storage snapshots in Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.

  • Issues preventing the integration of Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows with DataCore storage systems.
