How to Retrieve the VMC Log File

Note: The log location specified below is the default path. If you find that the expected log files are not in the default location, check if the log location has been customized.
The VMC.log file is stored on the Veeam Backup Server within the folder: C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Utils
Perform the following steps on the Veeam Backup Server:
- Right-click on the Start button.
- Select the "Run" option.
- Enter the following path, and click Ok
- Within the C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Utils folder, collect the VMC log file.
Note: The path is C:\ProgramData, not C:\Program Files\.
