Article Applicability

This article is regarding a issue that was discovered in Veeam Recovery Orchestrator build 7.2.1.286, which was available for download between 2025-07-08 and 2025-07-17. The issue documented in this article was discovered, confirmed, and patched and a new build was released (7.2.1.290).

Customers who installed Veeam Recovery Orchestrator build 7.2.1.286 should not install 7.2.1.290 or rollback their upgrade, and instead are encouraged to contact support for a fix to resolve this issue. Future upgrades from 7.2.1.286 will be supported.

Challenge

After enabling MFA within Veeam Recovery Orchestrator, attempting to login to the Web UI is no longer possible.

Cause

An issue was discovered in Veeam Recovery Orchestrator build 7.2.1.286 that can causes a lockout of the UI when MFA is enabled.

Solution

Customers who upgraded to or installed Veeam Recovery Orchestrator 7.2.1.286 are advised to contact Veeam Support to receive a fix for this issue.
