New Search Experience for Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365

We are excited to announce the initial rollout of our new search feature, designed to significantly improve the speed and efficiency of your search experience. Below are the details and important limitations to be aware of during this phased rollout.

• Faster Search Experience:
  Our upgraded search engine delivers results much more quickly, ensuring you can find what you need with minimal wait time.
• Expanded Search for Deleted Items:
  You can now search for deleted items—a capability previously available only in the browse experience.
  Important limitation:
  • You’ll be able to search for deleted items only from one month prior to the feature’s release date. Any items deleted before that will not appear in search results.
  • Going forward, all deleted items will be searchable from the time of deletion.
• Restore Point Search:
  The new search feature allows searching by restore points. 
  Important limitation:
  • Only restore points from up to one month before the initial release will be available in search.
  • All future restore points, created after the rollout, will be fully searchable.
• Scope of Search (Initial Phase):
  • The first rollout includes email (Exchange) search only.
  • OneDrive and SharePoint search capabilities will be added in the next phase.
• Email Body Content Search (Initial Limitation):
  • At launch, searching within email body content will not be available. This capability may be added in future updates.
