Challenge

The following error message is displayed while generating reports:

Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "SQL collation "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" and "{Your_SQL_Collation_Name}" in the equal to operation.

Cause

A non-default SQL Collation is in use that is not supported by OpsMgr,

Solution

To avoid this issue, make sure that the supported collation is specified for OpsMgr and Data Warehouse databases when installing OpsMgr. For existing installations it may be required to port/reinstall OpsMgr to use a supported SQL collation configuration.
