Overview
VMware Cloud Verified offerings exist in various forms. This article highlights specific considerations when working with Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Veeam ONE for disaster recovery orchestration purposes.
Depending on the vendor-specific VMware solution offering some features and permissions are not available. This may mean that it is possible to restore a backup or failover a replica, but other core features of the Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator may be limited or unavailable. This situation may change as features in the table below may become available in the future.
End-to-end networking from source and target environment is required, including DNS and access to the same Active Directory infrastructure across all sites. Veeam ONE needs to be used to configure VM groups.
