Veeam Backup & Replication fully supports AWS Elastic VMware Service (EVS), treating it as a standard vSphere environment. Built on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.2.x, EVS provides customers with comprehensive administrative access to vCenter, NSX, and other essential VMware components, delivering a familiar operational experience comparable to on-premises deployments.

All core Veeam Backup & Replication features, including backup, restore, and replication, are available through native vSphere integration. This allows organizations to protect and manage their workloads on AWS EVS with ease and confidence.

As with all VCF-based platforms, supportability is determined by the specific versions of VMware components in use. For detailed version-level compatibility with vSphere, vSAN, and NSX, please refer to Veeam KB2443.
